Overload

So I’m waiting to pay for my egg salad sandwich (okay, it’s a pita, but let’s not get sidetracked) and I notice in the little candy rack near the register there’s a bright red package with yellow lettering screaming out OVERLOAD at me, and I lean in closer to read the bulleted list next to the graphic which i ignore out of habit and the fine blue lettering says

• peanut butter
• chocolate sandwich cookie
• milk chocolate

and it’s only then that i look at the graphic and OH MY GOD! it’s a big fat oreo cookie on top of a peanut butter cup! only it’s not an oreo cookie, it has has OVERLOAD scribed in it’s chocolately goodness and I wonder why i have never even heard of OVERLOAD and so I pick up the friendly red package, pay for it and my pita and return to work and while I’m eating the pita, I keep glancing at the OVERLOAD out of the corner of my eye and finally i’m through and i tear open the red plasticy paper and pop an OVERLOAD into my mouth, not even bothering to chew, just stuffing it in so that I can get all the flavors at once and HOLY CRAP! it tastes like ass.

Try and imagine my disappointment.
