Darryl Patterson has posted an excellent entry, Why use the Zend Framework, on the Torontu PHP User Group site that addresses some of the same issues I’ve had with the ZF site — mostly, that it assumes if you’re visiting the site, you know all about it; the ZF site designers have targeted their audience (skilled developers familiar with frameworks) but have failed to take into account that a lot of their traffic will come from novice developers looking for guidance.
